The LBW Trust, through our Peshawar based NGO Partner SPADO, is supporting the education of five young women in the North West Frontier Provinces of Pakistan, (near the Afghanistan border) and in the SWAT valley – both troubled regions.
There are significant gender gaps in terms of education and job opportunities in that area and we hope the LBW Trust’s support of these girls is a modest start at attempting to redress these.

The LBW Trust is also collaborating closely with Namal College in Mianwali. Namal College, an Associate College of the University of Bradford in the UK, was founded by former Pakistan Cricket Captain and political leader Imran Khan (Chancellor of the University of Bradford, pictured). It was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Pakistan in 2008. We are supporting 19 Namal College students.
