A message from our Patron the Governor-General of Australia
This week we have been confronted with news headlines from Afghanistan that make us concerned for the Afghan people, their safety and their uncertain future.
The LBW Trust supports the education of 4 orphaned university students. We can confirm that they are still in Kabul and our partner NGO is in contact with them. The priority is their safety in an uncertain environment.
The Governor-General of Australia is a valued Patron of The LBW Trust and has asked us to share his statement and message to the nation on Afghanistan.
Our thoughts are with the Afghan people at this difficult time.
