Get Involved with The LBW Trust

Updated: Jan 3

The good work achieved with the support of The LBW Trust would not be possible without the fundraising work of the board and committees and the generous support of our donors. As we head into the warmer months, there are plenty of ways that you can get involved to support the activities of the Trust.

On Friday, December 4th, The LBW Trust will host the third annual Corporate Cricket Challenge at St Joseph’s College Hunters Hill, Sydney.

Eight teams representing their firms will battle it out for the winner trophy on a fun-filled afternoon of cricket. You are welcome to join the spectators on the sidelines to cheer on the teams or support the teams via their online fundraising pages.

In Melbourne, The LBW Trust will host the first-ever Corporate Cricket Challenge event at Haileybury College on March 26th, 2021. We are currently calling for corporate teams to participate in this event. If you think your organisation might be interested, let us know.

The Standing on Our Shoulders program, led by Women for Change is actively recruiting team members to join teams now. We look forward to the creative activities of these new teams, as they work together to fundraise for Kakenya’s Dream and grow by ‘standing on each other’s shoulders’.

If you’d like to learn more or join a team, visit the Women for Change website, then get in touch.

And of course, who would want to miss the Annual LBW Trust dinner?

On March 5th, 2021 we plan to celebrate the achievements of our charity at a black tie dinner at the Great Hall, University of Sydney. After a challenging year for all, we are planning a night to remember. Keep an eye out for the official invitation - we expect tables will sell out quickly.
