IRS Take The Corporate Cricket Challenge Cup in 2021, but Overseas Education is the Real Winner.

Neither rain or Covid were able to stop 6 corporate cricket teams meeting at St Joseph's College, Hunters Hill on Friday 3rd December, 2021 to compete for the 5th Annual Corporate Cricket Challenge.

It was well worth the trip up from Melbourne for the IRS team (in grey) who took the title from a very competitive Crestone team (in green).

The competition was tough throughout with hard-fought matches between PWC and Nexba, and MBS and Macquarie (defending champions). Our thanks to our six amazing umpires, led by Simon Taufel and our three field managers from Oracle- all of whom donated their time to ensure a wonderful day was had by all.

With the funds raised from the event, The LBW Trust can fully support the 170 students at our Sri Lankan NGO partner and cover the work of one of the three Indian NGOs we support to enable them to complete their life and community changing work.

We are already looking forward to doing it all again next year in Sydney and have plans to expand this event to include a Melbourne chapter, and maybe even Brisbane in 2022.
