Join Women For Change Giving Event 18th May

Women for Change, a committee of The LBW Trust is excited to share that we are expanding our network of charity partners to provide education opportunities to more young women. We’d love you to join us on our journey to change the lives of young women, their families and communities across the Indian subcontinent.


We invite you to attend our Virtual Giving Event where you will meet the inspirational leaders of three NGOs that Women for Change will be funding to provide tertiary education and drive change.


You will also have the opportunity to pledge your support for these initiatives on the night through our digital portal, with your crowdfunding efforts helping young women advance their career prospects.

When: Thursday 18th May from 6pm – 8pm

Where: We’ll send you a personal log-in prior to the event so you can join from wherever you are. Join us at work or home, with colleagues, friends or on your own.

Cost: It’s free! Please listen, learn and give when you feel inspired. Expect a feel-good evening of inspiring stories.

You will hear about the following local initiatives:


In Kathmandu, Nepal

Heartland College is set to expand their operations to open a brand new, women’s college to support 150 young women to complete Years 11 and 12 (Plus 2) as well as a women’s health clinic to address the health needs of these students and the broader female population in Kathmandu.


In Mumbai, India

A key talent program will lift up 25, exceptional young women who are already studying at SPRJK College in Mumbai, to support their education and prepare them for transformative, local career roles.


Young Women in Orphanages

Providing college education for 100 young women in orphanages across the Indian subcontinent through our partners at Teach Her. Help them to avoid a bleak future through education.
