The LBW Trust wishes to congratulate Chairman David Vaux, for recognition in the Queen's Birthday Honours List this week. The award recognises David's "significant service to the community through charitable initiatives, and to business".
David has been successful in business and has been highly engaged in philanthropic work spanning the past 32 years. At DCA (Radiology and Aged Care), and GenesisCare (Radiation oncology), he led these businesses to become market leaders in size, quality and effectiveness of service. As a result, hundreds of thousands of Australian patients receive better care and a better life. David donates a significant amount of his time to The LBW Trust. His family foundation is a major supporter of the Trust and to a range of other charities, several of which he has previously Chaired. In his dedication to business and charities, he has provided a wonderful example to others.
