Thanks to all who helped make our 2010 Annual Dinner on February 22nd at the SCG a huge success, especially our wonderful guest speakers, Joel Garner and Greg Chappell. It was our best yet. Here’s a small sample of photos, taken by our patron Rodney Cavalier. If you want to see more, click here and then click on the Slideshow button at top right.

Annual Golf Day
We almost had to put up the “house full” signs on Tuesday, September 29th – our 4th Annual Golf Day.
It was a beautiful day and of course the setting was simply stunning. The NSW Golf Club at La Perouse was in wonderful nick ahead of the 2009 Australian Open in December.
Amongst the 90 odd golfers were former Australian Test Cricketers David Sincock, Gordon Rorke, Ian Davis and our Patron, Greg Chappell. They were interviewed at lunchtime by LBW Trust Director Mike Coward.
Ian Davis of Dunlop Slazenger kindly donated the golfing prizes.
The Defence Minister (and LBW Trust Patron) Senator John Faulkner joined us at lunch.
The Golf Day was generously supported by leading Australian companies such as NAB (our bankers), Pacific Dunlop, Commonwealth Bank, Woolworths, Rebel Sports.
This was our most successful Golf Day ever, helped by the generous donation from Golf Australia (thanks to the efforts of LBW Trust Patron, Malcolm Speed) of a Pro Am spot at the Australian Open, for which we were able to realise $4000. Special thanks to Patrick Gallagher, Chairman of Book Publishers, Allen and Unwin and one of The LBW Trust’s strongest supporters. Our thanks also to the New South Wales Golf Club for their kind consideration and generosity.
